Well, I had a big ol’ birthday yesterday!! God bless all my wonderful friends and family for all the birthday wishes, cards galore, a flooded facebook page, tiara, magic wands, balloons from neighbors, non-stop text messages and emails piled up!You guys are da bomb! :)
I woke up to an extremely appreciative and heart-filled email from my mom that brought tears to my eyes.
Once awake, my day started at the DMV. That’s right! This gal was slapped with the reality that her driver’s license was indeed expired as of 3/11/10!
I did a little shopping and got completely enthralled with the seeds section. A garden will be in the making tomorrow!
I then had a dentist appointment. I know, right! This gal knows a GREAT time when she sees one! haha.
I came home from my appointment to discover that this scrumptious boy of mine has pulled from the archives ALL of the wedding flowers, petals and candles…..lining a path up 2 flights of stairs to our bathroom. He took our big ol’ tv into the bathroom too, and popped in a movie. Filled the tub with yummy scents and petals. Lit the candles and had a glass of Framboise awaiting my arrival! I soaked away, watching my movie while he slaved away downstairs making the most delicious oyster bake. Holy yummmm, Lovey!
This was only my birth day! He has had me on a National Treasure-esque hunt ALL week long leaving extravagent clues all over not only our house, but at restaurants, my car, friends’ homes…you name it. The boy is good at thinking up some brain teasers for clues because I have STRUGGLED. haha.
The fun continues…
