We stopped by the Punkin’ Patch near our house yesterday because I needed to get some pumpkins for work. They had a bunch of very unique little pumpkins. The thing that killed me was the trust that these little pumpkin farmers have. They had a sample display pricing each size of pumpkin. You were to match your selection to that, take one of their envelopes and write down what you purchased. Place your money in the envelope and place it in their locked shed. You know people are grabbing $20.00 sized pumpkins and pricing them at $6.00, you just know it!

I am completely behind on the times. It’s Halloween THIS weekend and I have yet to come up with any costumes, not to mention decorate our house. This has always been my favorite time of year but between all my work and our now fertility issues, the time escaped me. All I really want is some tall corn stalks to decorate outside {and some super cool FAST costume ideas too}. I couldn’t imagine how difficult it is to find corn stalk….in North Carolina!  I have yet to find some. My moral compass will not allow me to steal it from another lucky finder so I may just have to go without this year!
