This is a slight feeling of what all of us Tumblr’s {and readers} have been feeling that past 3 days, roughly. With an array of word phrases, such as “We’ll Be Back Shortly” and “Wait A Minute” continuous posting has been obsolete lately. Fortunately, I feel confident that ladies and gents in the Tumblr world are working feverishly to work this out! While they work out the kinks, I will wrap up some neglected items and kick this cold! Hopefully, we all will be back to regularly scheduled programming soon!
Today I spent a big chunk of my late morning/early afternoon cleaning to the tunes of Johnny Cash, John Denver, Bryan Adams, Buddy Holly, Heart, Bobby Vinton, Chicago, Foreigner, etc.
I dusted off some of the vinyls and let the record spin me a tune. :)
I have been cleaning off my overly-cluttered USB today and found so many pictures over the past 5 years. I confess that I 100% miss my long hair and a more slender physique. It was so much fun going through these pictures, but made me feel like I’m not aging gracefully. :( Booo to getting older! haha.
Another thing realized, I have still yet to find the “perfect” hair color!
I have been trying to figure out my direction for months, maybe even a year now! It’s challenging trying to point yourself in a direction between financially stable and doing something you love. Why must we compromise one for the other? I wish the direction was clearer. I wish I could allow myself to take the plunge and feel ok about it. The choice of diving head first into something you love and leaving the stability of what is available is a complicated decision. Fortunately, my hubby, friends and family are a constant, unconditional support. With that being said, sometimes it blurs the lines even more. If others have placed SO much faith in me and my abilities, why can’t I do the same? With the onset of infertility treatment and the cost that it requires, is it truly “smart” to jump into a “start-up”? This, of course, ads a recurring stress that looms over me on a daily basis. In the end, I am sure we will be fine. I know we would be ok, but certainly a lifestyle adjustment would be necessary! In the meantime, the uncertainty is just unbearable. I’m not a gamblr. I’m not that big of a risk taker, unless my odds are great, and is that really a “risk taker” anyway? I don’t have the urge to bungy jump.
How do I find the strength to move forward in whichever direction life takes me. Financially stable and unhappy OR financially barren {for now and me alone} but for something I enjoy? I’m in unfamiliar territory. What would you do?
I have to throw something that out there just shocks me, still. Remember when I was just thinking about getting my tattoo? I hadn’t discussed it with Jeremy because I was afraid he would “vito” the idea? Well, this fella of mine has been saying randomly {a couple of times} that he wants me to practice my Photography full-time and get a 1/2 sleeve? WHAT?! Who is this boy of mine? I personally cannot picture my arm with a tattoo, but I do confess that on men, I found it very sexy. He isn’t a tattoo guy. He doesn’t have any of his own, nor does he really want any, yet he wants me all tatt’d up! That is just funny to me and continues to surprise me when I hear or think of it! No worries, I don’t see a sleeve in my future any time soon {or at all}.
